At just 13 years and 234 days, Vaibhav Suryavanshi is the youngest player in the auction pool. Born on March 27, 2011, in Bihar, he made his first-class debut earlier this year for Bihar, becoming one of the youngest to do so at the age of 12 years and 284 days.
Vaibhav recently represented the India U19 team against Australia, where he gained attention with a blistering 58-ball century. Across five first-class matches, he has scored 100 runs, with a highest score of 41, and continues to showcase his talent in the Ranji Trophy.

Mumbai’s Ayush Mhatre, a 17-year-old opening batter, is another young hopeful entering the IPL auction. Known for his consistency, Ayush earned a surprise call-up to Mumbai's Irani Trophy squad last month.
Despite a modest performance in the Irani Trophy, his Ranji Trophy form has been remarkable. Ayush scored a debut fifty, followed by a spectacular 176 against Maharashtra, and later added another century (116) in a match against Services. In five matches, he has scored 408 runs at an average of 45.33, including two centuries and one half-century.
