'Jawan' embarked on its cinematic journey on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami, and right from the outset, it was destined for greatness. It debuted with a thunderous roar, raking in an astounding ₹75 crore on its very first day, marking the largest-ever debut for a Hindi film. As if that weren't enough, the film hit its peak on the third day, amassing a staggering ₹80 crore across India. What makes this feat even more astonishing is that 'Jawan' continued to shatter records throughout the week, amassing a whopping ₹328 crore in India and crossing the ₹600 crore mark globally. This unprecedented first-week performance cements 'Jawan' as the biggest Hindi film in history in terms of opening-week collections.

The magic of 'Jawan' didn't wane as the week progressed. Even on the seventh day of its release, it continued to dazzle audiences, adding ₹23 crore to its already impressive domestic earnings. The film maintained a stronghold with ₹32 crore in India on Monday and ₹26 crore on Tuesday. Impressive occupancy rates of 23% on Wednesday ensured that 'Jawan' remained a crowd-puller, with night shows contributing significantly to its remarkable success. Mumbai and Delhi-NCR, two of the film's most lucrative regions, reported occupancies of 24% and 25%, respectively.

Expanding its reach, 'Jawan' wasn't content with just Hindi audiences. The film also made waves in Tamil and Telugu markets with dubbed versions. Tamil-language screenings boasted a 15% occupancy rate on day seven, while Telugu-language showings held steady at 23%. Directed by Atlee, renowned for his collaborations with Tamil superstar Vijay, 'Jawan' also featured Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles, further broadening its appeal.
